Amazon Turkey Logistics Center, together with volunteers, carried out an environmental cleanup in the forest to protect nature and raise environmental awareness. As part of this effort, we collected waste left in nature, making a tangible contribution to the protection of natural areas.
During the event, 431 kg of waste was collected, and 3,900 cigarette butts were removed from nature. The cleanup effort prevented the emission of 28.56 kg of greenhouse gases and prevented the contamination of approximately 3,900,000 liters of clean water. These figures provided important indicators that made the environmental impact of volunteer work visible.
As Ahbap, we continue our efforts to protect nature and promote environmental responsibility together with our institutional volunteers.
