Project Detail
Following the earthquakes on February 6, we established a tent city for 10,000 people in Hatay on the fourth day of the disaster to address the urgent need for shelter. This initiative aimed to create a safe and organized living space for earthquake victims who had limited access to shelter in the first days after the earthquake.
The tent city was planned to meet the temporary shelter needs of thousands of people affected by the earthquake. The layout of the area was designed with consideration for shelter, common areas, and access to basic necessities. The establishment of the tent city was completed in a short time through the coordination of our volunteers on the ground and rapid logistical planning.
