Project Detail
The Ahbap Inspiration Workshop was developed to help high school students living in earthquake-affected areas move away from traumatic effects and achieve psychological relief. The project aims to support students' mental health and help them develop new hobbies by utilizing the healing power of artistic activities. To this end, ceramics, photography, and painting workshops have been organized to help students discover their artistic talents and reduce their stress levels.
Activities
May 2024:
- Three-day art workshops were held at Adıyaman Gölbaşı Science High School.
- 70 students participated in ceramics, photography, and painting workshops.
- Students were given gift boxes containing art supplies.
- The "Inspiration Workshop Mixed Exhibition" was held at the Museum Gazhane in Istanbul.
- Throughout the exhibition, the students' works were displayed to art lovers and offered for sale.
- Artworks were sold through Ahbap Market outside of the exhibition.
- The proceeds were used to provide art supplies to students and support the construction of schools in the earthquake zone.
