Paw Houses

We place the cat houses we produce from recycled materials on the streets.

Project Detail

To provide street animals with a safe and warm shelter, we have been regularly placing cat houses made from recycled materials in areas designated by municipalities for the past 5 years. As part of this project, cat houses produced using recycled materials are placed in areas designated by municipalities, providing street animals with a safe and warm shelter.
In 2024 and 2025, with the support of Adore Furniture, wood materials left over from furniture production are being converted into cat houses, insulated by Ahbap volunteers, and distributed. Thanks to the collaboration with municipalities, the project receives official support, while volunteers both create shelter areas and provide food in these areas.

Activities

  • Approximately 1,200 cat and dog shelters were placed within the first three years.
  • In 2024, in collaboration with Adore Furniture, 350 cat shelters were distributed on February 10-11 and February 17-18.
  • In 2025, 450 cat houses were placed in 45 cities on February 22-23 and March 1-2.
  • Feeding activities were carried out regularly each year throughout the project.
  • Collaborations with municipalities ensured that the houses were placed in safe areas.
