Project Detail
In the Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman, we provided a basketball court to Şehit Ahmet Demir Middle School as a partner in BİDEV's "BİDEV Step for Basketball in Villages" project, enabling children to engage more with sports.
With this court, we created a safe space where students can exercise regularly, move around, and spend time together. We believe that sports strengthen children's physical development as well as their self-confidence, team spirit, and social bonds; we know that such spaces have a positive impact on children's daily lives, especially in the aftermath of disasters.
As Ahbap, we continue to strengthen children's access to sports and social spaces through our collaborations with various institutions.
