Animal Nutrition is an animal feeding initiative run by the Ahbap Association since 2018. The project is carried out with the participation of volunteers to meet the nutritional needs of street animals.
As part of the project, volunteers in all Ahbap cities gather at designated points to distribute food for cats and dogs.
The Project's Main Objectives
- Reducing hunger among street animals,
- Raising public awareness about animal rights and feeding,
- Encouraging volunteers to create social benefits,
- Reaching more animals by collaborating with sponsors and municipalities.
What Was Done Within the Scope of the Project?
- 2018: The project was launched, and the first feeding activities were carried out.
- 2019-2023: Regular feedings were carried out with the support of volunteers throughout Turkey, distributing a total of nearly 50 tons of food.
- January 2024: The Petiva brand supported the project with a donation of 15 tons of food.
- February 2024: Simultaneous feeding events were organized and food was distributed.
- March 2024: Plans were made to increase municipal partnerships to make feeding points sustainable.
2024 yılında Petiva’nın desteğiyle 15 ton mama dağıtıldı ve 20.000’den fazla kedi ile köpek beslendi. Böylece proje Türkiye genelinde daha geniş kapsamlı bir hale geldi.
